Dr. Kenneth W. Jones
Dr. Kenneth Jones’ life reflects determination, leadership, and selfless service. From picking cotton to the pentagon, Dr. Jones has distinguished himself as a leader with over 30 years of spiritual, community, and military leadership and service.
Born in Natchitoches, Louisiana in a large, rural, household of seventeen children, Dr. Jones experienced the trials of poverty, discrimination, and limited opportunities. He determined in himself to overcome such obstacles through education and daily perseverance. He started out becoming involved in athletics, school activities, and excelling academically, later attending college at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was at Southern University where he committed his life to Christ and began his spiritual journey at the age of seventeen. Over the years, Dr. Jones continued his education, receiving his Master’s Degree at Grambling State University and later his Doctorate of Biblical Studies Degree at Master’s International School of Divinity in biblical leadership.
Dr. Jones accepted the call to ministry early in life and began to exercise his call serving in various church positions all over the world as a praise and worship leader, teacher, Assistant Pastor, Outreach and Prison Ministry, counselor, and Church department head. His various positions and service in multiple churches is due to his travel to several duty stations while serving in the Armed Forces. While serving in the U.S. Army, Dr. Jones led soldiers in peace and in war receiving the Bronze Star for Bravery in battle, and the Legion of Merit for over 20 years of exceptional military service.
Dr. Jones is currently pastor of “Practical Living Ministry,” where he teaches biblical concepts for practical living. He is the author of two books, “Praise Goeth Before Thee,” and “Impact Leadership.” He conducts leadership seminars in churches and communities desiring to know how to better grow and develop their leaders within their organizations.
Dr. Jones is married to Mary Roby and has six children, Chasity, Chloe, Kenneth Jr., Enuolare, Jared and Josiah.
